Rail S&T Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled System & Signalling Engineer with 4-5 years of experience to join the rail team. The successful candidate will specialize in railway system & signalling systems, with expertise in European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS) and Communications-Based Train Control (CBTC), to design, implement, and optimize signalling solutions. This role involves ensuring safe and efficient train operations, leveraging advanced technologies for high-speed and freight railway networks. Responsibilities

Design and configure ERTMS and CBTC systems to ensure safe train operations. Conduct signalling simulations using industry-standard tools to model system performance. Develop and test signalling layouts and interlocking systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate signalling designs with track and power systems, providing integration plans. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field. 4-5 years of experience in railway signalling, with proven expertise in ERTMS and CBTC systems. Strong knowledge of signalling design, testing, and integration, including interoperability with high-speed and freight operations. Excellent analytical skills and ability to produce detailed, actionable reports under tight deadlines. Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with different disciplines.
