Overview

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Senior Manager of Project Control (DEL-251) to lead project management initiatives, oversee project controls across multiple projects, and ensure that deliverables align with the company’s strategic vision. This leadership role includes managing a team of project control analysts and collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to drive efficiency, precision, and successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Design and refine project control systems to enhance tracking of initiatives across programs.
  • Lead cost estimation efforts and manage budget allocations for multiple concurrent projects.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project schedules with regular updates and reporting.
  • Utilize metrics and earned value analysis to monitor performance against targets.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop strategies to minimize impacts on timelines and budgets.
  • Produce regular performance reports for senior leadership and project stakeholders.
  • Guide and mentor the project control team to develop skills and promote professional growth.
  • Drive adherence to project management best practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to promote synergy and coordination on project objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
  • At least 9–12 years of extensive experience in project controls, especially in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex project environments.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Mastery of project management software, including scheduling (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and financial tools.
  • Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent are highly regarded.
  • Prior experience in the Middle East's construction sector is advantageous.
