About the role
We are looking for a driven and capable Business Development Director to support us with identifying and pursuing new clients and penetrating new markets.
Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including market trends, competitive landscape, and potential partners
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve growth targets
- Review of Mission-Critical-related organizations and periodicals
- Analyze and prioritize existing and possible business opportunities
- Research conferences and trade shows within the industry and identify new opportunities
- Ascertain and acquire appropriate resources to assist with the identification of new opportunities
- Conduct in-depth market research analysis to identify client needs, competitor activity, and promising channels to inform business development strategies
- Work with Decima leadership to evaluate and adjust business strategies based on current market trends
- Compile detailed reports on opportunities, successes, and strategies
- Assist in the development of company marketing plans and support in developing a strategy for new opportunities
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to strategize and tackle new opportunities to align business development efforts with overall company objectives
- Assist with negotiations and closing high-value deals and partnerships
- Coordinate and assist with proposals and quotations
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to potential clients and partners
- Monitor and report on the performance of business development initiatives, including key metrics and KPIs
Qualifications
20+ years of business development experienceBachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or equivalentExperience performing business development responsibilities in the construction field, especially for data centers, mission‑critical, large infrastructure programs, and healthcare projectsPrior business development experience in the GCC (e.g., KSA, UAE, and Qatar)Extensive experience in market researchComprehensive understanding of market trendsStrong communication skills, including the ability to communicate with any audience clearly and accuratelyProficient in Microsoft Office programsPossess the skills to reach out to potential clients to explore different possible collaboration opportunities and develop rewarding business relationshipsPreferred Qualifications
