A degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering, Computer Science from a reputed university or similar approved qualifications from overseas. Any two certifications required from these : CISSP, CISA, CCSP, CCNP, MCSE, Security, ITIL, PMP.

General Responsibilities :

• Data Centre Security Specialists are the most technically advanced members of the SOC / NOC staff. In addition to the support functions, they participate in planning and design at the highest levels.
• Also includes mentoring and development of other staff members, as well as holding one or more sub-roles.
• They may also hold a shift supervisory role within the SOC / NOC.
• Third level technical support for fault management and customer provisioning.
• Design responsibilities for complex customer requirements.
• Interaction with vendors and support providers as needed.
• Participation in planning of services.
• Post problem analysis and maintenance of the knowledge base used in support.
• Approving authorities within the change management process.
• Information Security Consciousness and high degree of knowledge.
• Resolving security incidents, and implement controls and risk mitigation.
