الوصف الوظيفيBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field. Minimum 10 years of hands‑on experience in rotating equipment, with a strong background in turbomachinery and extrusion systems. Proven experience in equipment troubleshooting, reliability analysis, and long‑term technical studies. Strong knowledge of industry standards (API, ISO, etc.) relevant to rotating equipment. Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills. Previous experience in SABIC or similar petrochemical environments is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed diagnostics and troubleshooting of rotating equipment, particularly turbomachinery and extrusion systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective / preventive actions to improve equipment reliability and performance.
- Lead and support long‑term studies for performance improvement and optimization of rotating assets.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and reliability teams to ensure equipment uptime and efficiency.
- Provide technical input during the design, installation, and commissioning of rotating equipment.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety protocols.
- Review and validate maintenance procedures and suggest improvements where applicable.
- Work with OEMs and third‑party vendors for specialized support and overhauls.
