Role Description

The IT Project Manager will lead and coordinate multiple safety-related digital initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, technical integrity, and alignment with organizational safety goals. This includes managing cross-functional teams and vendors across projects such as Behavior-Based Safety, e-Permit to Work, Emergency Management, Process Safety, Incident Management, AI-driven Incident Prediction, and Sustainability Management.

Responsibilities

• Define scope, objectives, and deliverables for each safety-related IT project. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
• Facilitate communication between internal teams (Safety, IT, Operations) and external vendors. Ensure alignment on goals, timelines, and compliance requirements.
• Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure quality assurance through standardized processes and documentation.
• Provide technical leadership, especially in safety systems integration (e.g., Sphera, PIMS, LIMS). Ensure compatibility with existing infrastructure and compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation. Track KPIs, budget adherence, and progress reports for management review.
• Oversee digital tools for incident reporting, classification, and investigation. Ensure lessons learned are captured and shared across teams.
• Collaborate with engineering, geology, and operations teams to gather business requirements and translate them into system or process enhancements.
• Develop business cases for operational improvements, cost optimization, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Support implementation of ERP systems, process mining tools, and automation technologies. Monitor KPIs across projects and generate actionable insights for leadership.
• Prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations for senior management. Ensure alignment with Saudi Vision 2030 and sustainability goals.
