About the Role
The IT Manager will be responsible for managing and supervising all IT functions across infrastructure, systems, networks, and security. The role aims to maximize the value of technology within the organization ensuring reliability, innovation, and efficiency to optimize profitability for logistics and real estate operations. The position requires a strategic leader who can balance technical expertise with strong business acumen and stakeholder management
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage IT operations including infrastructure, systems, and cybersecurity.
- Align IT strategy with organizational goals to enhance business performance.
- Lead and mentor the IT team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management.
- Ensure availability, reliability, and optimal performance of all IT systems and applications.
- Collaborate with internal departments to identify and prioritize technological requirements.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and data security standards.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate IT product and service contracts.
- Control IT budgets and ensure cost-effective resource utilization.
- Prepare and execute Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans.
- Administer IT systems including Office 365, SharePoint, Anti-virus, Active Directory, and Azure.
- Develop and manage web applications, ensuring seamless integration with business processes.
- Conduct internal and external IT audits and ensure compliance.
- Maintain robust data backup systems and ensure network security.
- Train staff on IT systems, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support.
Competencies
