Role Summary
The Media Manager is responsible for leading the company’s media strategy and execution across all channels to maximize return on investment and ensure full alignment with the “One McDonald’s Way” of marketing. The role acts as the primary liaison between RICC and the media agency, driving efficiency, innovation, and accountability in every campaign.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the relationship with the media agency, ensuring strategic alignment, transparency, and performance accountability.
Develop and oversee annual media plans that optimize spend efficiency, channel mix, and audience targeting.
Ensure that all campaigns are planned and executed in alignment with the One McDonald’s marketing framework Define, Design, Develop, and Deliver.
Campaign Planning & Execution
Oversee end-to-end media campaign management from setting objectives and KPIs to execution and post-campaign analysis.
Ensure every campaign has clearly defined KPIs covering targeting, measurement, engagement, and business impact.
Review campaign performance with the agency, identify optimization opportunities, and recommend actionable improvements to management.
Performance Optimization & Reporting
Conduct ongoing performance reviews to track efficiency, ROI, and impact across media channels.
Provide structured reporting to management summarizing campaign outcomes, lessons learned, and next-step recommendations.
Ensure all lessons learned are systematically applied to improve future campaigns and media effectiveness.
Market Insights & Innovation
Continuously monitor market and media trends to spot emerging opportunities and shifts in audience behavior.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Marketing, Communications or Business Administration).
3–5 years of experience in media planning, buying, or campaign management.
Proven track record in managing multi-channel media campaigns.
Experience working with media agencies and vendors.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Strong relationship-building abilities with internal teams and external partners.
High attention to detail, time management, and ability to work under pressure.
