Site Operations Manager, AMZL (Last Mile) - South

Amazon is a US-based multinational e-commerce company. We offer opportunities for experienced leaders in operations management to accelerate growth through challenging field experiences that drive scalable improvements across Fulfillment Centers, Supply Chain & Transportation execution teams.

Responsibilities

• Quickly understand the business issues and challenges of Transportation operations; identify strengths / weaknesses and suggest areas for improvement
• Map business requirements, understand business processes, study and analyze workflows, design solutions and prepare functional specifications
• Be data driven, develop and report performance metrics, executive updates, forecasting, budgeting and analysis to identify opportunities for improving Customer Experience
• Deep dive to acquire extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices and apply them to solving business problems
• Design, develop, pilot & rollout enterprise-wide programs around performance improvement, cycle time improvement for returns, delivery experience, financial auditing, and identification of alternate delivery services
• Develop standard operating procedures
• Direct accountability for setting and meeting operational goals, strategic planning and forecasting
• Lead a team of business analysts, program managers or area managers
• Lead process improvements

Ideal candidates leverage strong analytical skills, communication, and the ability to think big.
