Full-time role with a 1-year contract. Availability to relocate to Riyadh. Competitive compensation and benefits package. Join One of the World's Largest Greening Initiatives
As part of one of the world’s most significant greening projects, bödeker leads the Tree Management Office (TMO). This office plays a critical role in supervising and overseeing tree-related operations, ensuring high standards in urban greening. To support this initiative, we are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Nursery Manager to oversee the Center of Excellence nursery (CoE). The role is primarily supervisory, ensuring that the operations contractor adheres to all contractual obligations, including production schedules, timelines, and quality control measures. Center of Excellence Nursery
The Center of Excellence Nursery will operate and produce specified quantities of trees and shrubs using advanced growing methods in a structured, multi-stage process. Plants are grown from seeds and cuttings, progressing through different transplanting stages with automated systems and optimized irrigation. Soil mixes are engineered for each growth phase, and fertilizers are applied through drip irrigation and foliar feeding, with regular soil testing ensuring plant health. A dedicated production plan aligns with client targets, adjusting as needed while maintaining overall commitments. Routine care includes irrigation management, pest control, pruning, greenhouse operations, and general maintenance to ensure a clean and disease-free growing environment. Water is transported, tested, and managed to meet nursery requirements, while a seed bank collects, processes, and stores seeds for future use. The Living Laboratory conducts research to enhance nursery practices, improve plant quality, and support production. Training programs develop staff expertise, including on-the-job training for client personnel. Plants are delivered to private nurseries and landscape contractors, with a system in place to ensure the return of reusable pots. Best practices guide quality control at every stage, ensuring that all plants meet high health and growth standards before distribution. What We Offer
