About the job : SAFETY ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities :

• Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures on-site.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and site audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Labor Law, Saudi Building Code (SBC), and relevant regulations (e.g., Civil Defense, Royal Commission, Aramco / NEOM standards if applicable).
• Prepare and maintain safety documentation including incident reports, checklists, PTW (Permit to Work), and safety records.
• Assist in developing Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and safe work method statements (SWMS).
• Lead toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions for workers and subcontractors.
• Monitor high-risk activities such as working at heights, lifting operations, hot works, confined spaces, scaffolding, etc.
• Support incident / accident investigations and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure all personal protective equipment (PPE) is used appropriately and maintained.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and clients on safety matters.
• Promote a strong safety culture across the project.
