Public Relations and Communication Senior Vice President The role holder is responsible for leading the Communication and Public Relations function of Awqaf Investments, developing and implementing comprehensive communication strategies that enhance the organization’s reputation, promote its mission, and engage stakeholders effectively. The Senior Vice President oversees both internal and external communication, brand management, media relations, and crisis communication. This role ensures strategic alignment of communication activities with organizational goals and values, driving transparency, engagement, and a unified brand voice across all platforms.

Core Responsibilities

Develop and lead the execution of a comprehensive communication and public relations strategy aligned with Awqaf Investments\' vision and strategic priorities.

Establish policies, frameworks, and protocols to govern all communication activities, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment across departments.

Oversee the planning and delivery of the annual corporate communications calendar including reports, campaigns, events, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.

Provide strategic counsel to senior management and departments on communication-related matters and reputation management.

Manage, mentor, and supervise the Communication & PR team, ensuring clear goals, professional growth, and high-performance standards.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and responsiveness within the communication function.

Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and PR agencies to ensure effective dissemination of the organization’s message.

Serve as the primary spokesperson or media liaison when required and manage executive visibility in media appearances, interviews, and public engagements.

Lead proactive and reactive media strategies, including crisis communication management, press releases, and media briefings.

Monitor media coverage, analyze public sentiment, and take corrective actions when necessary.

Oversee the development and distribution of high-quality content across all communication channels including websites, intranet, social media, newsletters, and publications.

Ensure brand consistency and tone of voice across internal and external communication materials.

Direct creative content planning and storytelling that elevates brand positioning and stakeholder engagement.

Lead the design and execution of marketing / PR campaigns to promote key initiatives, events, or milestones.

Establish KPIs and measure the effectiveness of communication strategies and PR campaigns.

Provide regular reports to leadership on communication outcomes, media coverage, reputation metrics, and strategic insights.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, privacy standards, and ethical practices in all communications.

Defines goals and key performance indicators for all direct repartees and ensures effective AIC performance management process implementation.

Manages the direct reports by evaluating their performance, providing feedback on an ongoing basis, identifying development needs, and coaching them to ensure capability development.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor Degree in Public Relations / Marketing or any relevant field.

From 7 to 9 Years of experience in Public Relations and Communication.
