The
Principal Architect (Presales & Bid Management)
is responsible for driving business growth by leading and managing the presales and bid processes. This role collaborates across multiple internal and external teams to develop competitive proposals, respond to
RFPs / RFIs , and effectively communicate the company’s technical and commercial capabilities.

and crafting high-impact proposals that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with the
sales team
to identify client needs and design tailored solution presentations.
Develop
technical and commercial content
that articulates how the company’s offerings meet or exceed client requirements.
Participate in
customer meetings, workshops, and presentations
as a subject matter expert.
Bid Management & Proposal Development
Lead
end-to-end bid processes , including preparation, submission, and follow-up of proposals in response to RFPs / RFIs.
Coordinate with
sales, technical, and management
teams to gather information and ensure proposal compliance with client requirements.
Establish and manage
timelines , monitor progress, and ensure all deadlines are met.
Track, analyze, and report on
bid performance and outcomes
to senior management.
Identify and implement
process improvements
to enhance efficiency and win rates.
Stakeholder Coordination
Serve as a
liaison
between internal teams (Product Development, Finance, Legal) and external stakeholders to align bid proposals with business goals.
Facilitate
cross-department collaboration
to enhance proposal development processes.
Maintain
effective communication with clients and partners
throughout the bid lifecycle.
Qualifications Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in
Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
(Master’s preferred).
8–10 years of experience
in presales, bid management, or a similar role in a technical or service-oriented industry.
Proven success in
managing complex bid proposals
and
winning competitive business opportunities .
Communication :
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to create persuasive, well-structured proposals.
Project Management :
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities; comfortable managing multiple bids under tight deadlines.
Analytical Thinking :
High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Technical Knowledge :
Strong understanding of
cloud platforms
(AWS, Azure, GCP, local KSA sovereign clouds).
Familiarity with
AI frameworks
and enterprise AI use cases (predictive analytics, NLP, computer vision, cybersecurity AI).
Experience with
enterprise software technologies , including :
ERP / CRM :
SAP, Oracle, Dynamics
ITSM platforms : ServiceNow
API and microservices architectures
Awareness of
Saudi compliance frameworks
(NCA, SDAIA, CST, NDMO) related to AI, software, and cloud deployments.
Tools Proficiency : Skilled in
Microsoft Office Suite
and familiar with
CRM platforms .
Language : Proficiency in
Arabic
is an advantage, enhancing engagement with local stakeholders and clients.
