Maintenance Squadron Commander (MSC) Advisor

Responsibilities

  • Advise MSC on the status of maintenance, facilities, personnel, and proper use of resources.
  • Coordinate with USAF Logistics on aircraft issues requiring maintenance.
  • Monitor TCTO status of assigned aircraft and related equipment.
  • Provide solutions to negative trends through application of the Quality Management Process.
  • Resolve supply issues with equipment and parts.
  • Assist in resolving personnel and contractual issues between the contractor and RSAF Maintenance Squadron.
  • Provide technical advice to Maintenance Officers assigned under the MSC.
  • Counsel personnel when required.
  • Monitor training and correct any training deficiencies.

Requirements

  • Effective management of assigned personnel and resources.
  • Management of all related maintenance on F-15C / D / S aircraft.
  • Experience in Air Force Supply System and Resource Management.
  • Effective communication skills, problem solving, and individual counseling.
  • Thorough familiarity with Air Force Management and Policies.
  • Ability to analyze maintenance practices for deficiencies.
  • Ability to develop and implement procedures and policies to correct maintenance deficiencies.
  • Highly knowledgeable of Quality Management best practices.
