Senior Presales Engineer

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Presales Engineer with proven experience in the software field to support and follow up on proposal writeups and submissions for KSA software projects. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the presales process, technical documentation, and KSA governmental RFP submission procedures. Key Responsibilities :

• Coordinate and follow up on technical and commercial proposal writeups for software projects targeting clients in KSA.
• Review RFPs / RFIs / RFQs to extract technical, functional, and submission requirements.
• Collaborate with technical teams, consultants, and writers to ensure timely and high-quality proposal delivery.
• Track proposal progress across all active opportunities and maintain a central log of writeup status, gaps, and deadlines.
• Ensure all KSA-specific requirements (NCA compliance, SDAIA alignment, digital standards, etc.) are incorporated.
• Perform quality checks to validate alignment with scope, evaluation criteria, and customer expectations.
• Assist in preparing clarification questions, compliance matrices, and submission documentation.
• Maintain templates, best practices, and lessons learned to continuously improve the proposal process.

Requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum 4–6 years of experience in a software presales or proposal coordination role.

Proven experience with software project proposals for KSA clients, including ministries and public sector entities.

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, enterprise solutions, and digital transformation.

Familiarity with KSA procurement portals and submission procedures.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic

Strong organizational and coordination abilities; able to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
