We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead our flour sales operations in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the flour market and have a proven track record in sales management. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive sales growth while ensuring customer satisfaction. The Regional Sales Manager will work closely with various departments to develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with our business goals. You will be responsible for overseeing the sales team, managing key accounts, and identifying new business opportunities within the region. Your ability to analyze market trends and customer needs will be crucial in achieving sales targets and expanding our market share.
Responsibilities
Business Development & Market Expansion
- Identify, onboard, and develop new customers, distributors, and sales channels to expand market reach.
- Explore and evaluate untapped territories, customer segments, and product opportunities.
- Conduct regular market mapping and competitor benchmarking to support long-term growth strategies.
- Execute area-specific activation plans in collaboration with marketing and trade teams.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders to strengthen business penetration.
Sales Target Achievement
Drive and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual sales volume and revenue targets.Monitor daily team performance against KPIs, providing support and corrective action where needed.Coordinate with distributors and partners to ensure product availability and optimal stock levels.Achieve collection targets while minimizing overdue payments.Ensure pricing execution and adherence to trade policies to protect margins and competitiveness.Customer Relationship Management
Develop and sustain strong relationships with key customers, trade partners, and stakeholders across channels.Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints and service requests.Conduct regular field visits to strengthen customer loyalty and enhance brand presence.Channel & Distribution Management
Monitor and evaluate distributor performance, ensuring compliance with stock norms, order cycles, and payment terms.Analyze secondary sales to optimize route-to-market strategies.Drive effective distribution coverage and penetration across all channels.Sales Operations Excellence
Ensure trade execution excellence by driving product availability, visibility, planogram compliance, and promotional effectiveness.Collaborate with supply chain and logistics to ensure seamless product flow and order fulfillment.Maintain strict adherence to internal controls, company policies, and regulatory compliance.Reporting & Data Management
Prepare and deliver area-wise sales reports, forecasts, and business reviews.Track and report on competitor activities, pricing dynamics, and market trends.Leverage CRM / SFA tools to ensure real-time visibility into the sales pipeline and customer activities.Team Leadership & Development
Lead, train, and motivate a team of Territory Sales Officers / Executives.Set clear performance targets and provide regular coaching and feedback.Conduct skill development sessions, succession planning, and on-the-job field coaching.Oversee and monitor the execution of customer deals and programs.Governance & Compliance
Enforce strict adherence to company policies, SOPs, and code of conduct.Ensure compliance with Food Security Authority regulations and other relevant standards.Maintain accurate documentation in line with audit, quality, and food safety requirements.Conduct periodic compliance checks and implement corrective actions where required.Oversee the collection of required legal documentation for agreements and activation programs.Preferred Candidate
Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar role in the flour or food industry.Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse sales team.Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-focused mindset.Ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.Willingness to travel within the region as needed.Skills
