Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in educational psychology or related field (i.e., developmental psychology, educational counseling, school social work or sociotherapy); Master's degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience as an educational psychologist, special education instructor, counselor, advisor or relevant role that applies educational psychology theory and practice.
• Experience working with people who have a wide range of disabilities and needs.
• Proficient command of spoken, written and presentational skills in Arabic and English.
• Good knowledge of current special needs topics and service methodologies.
• Ability to conduct evaluative testing and assessments to support creation of individualized Educational Plans (IEPs).
• Patient, resourceful, and resilient personality; able to be sensitive, empathetic and willing to establish rapport with individuals.
• Ability to cope with emotional situations, with excellent listening and observational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in Arabic and English.
