High-level Job Purpose Statement : Provide strategic and operational financial leadership, oversee financial planning and control, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. The Finance Director supports the CFO and executive management by implementing effective financial policies, managing budgets, and ensuring financial sustainability and growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Direct, manage, and control the organization’s financial operations and transactions.
Establish, monitor, and achieve financial goals and objectives aligned with company strategy.
Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and performance trends.
Develop, implement, and enforce financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
Represent the Finance Department in dealings with banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
Supervise preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
Monitor cash flow, bank deposits, and payments to ensure effective liquidity management.
Review and approve major financial transactions and reporting packages.
Oversee preparation and accuracy of routine and specialized financial / management reports.
Support in arranging Letters of Credit (LCs) and other banking facilities.
Manage accounts receivable / payable and monitor monthly budget variances.
Provide financial insights and recommendations for the Board of Directors’ consideration.
Lead, mentor, and evaluate Finance Department staff (controllers, accountants, analysts).
Coordinate and support annual independent financial audits.
Drive cost control initiatives and ensure efficiency in financial operations.
Any other work assignment by CFO
Minimum Requirements for the Role : Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Master’s degree or professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA) is Preferred
Experience :
8–10 years of progressive finance leadership experience (preferably in Automotive or related industry)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Excellent leadership and people management abilities.
Exceptional verbal and report presentation abilities
In-depth knowledge of financial management skills, policies, procedures, and systems.
Knowledge of the automotive industry, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
Fluent in English
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and creative problem-solving skills
