Qiddiya Investment Company is actively searching for a Senior Design Manager for our Tennis Centre project. This role involves leading the design and development of a state-of-the-art tennis facility, ensuring it aligns with our vision of creating a world-class sporting destination.
The Design Manager will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and the internal development team, to drive the project from concept through to completion. You will leverage your expertise in sports facility design to create innovative solutions that enhance the overall experience for players and spectators alike.
This position requires a strong commitment to quality, detail, and sustainability in design, as well as a thorough understanding of the operational needs of a tennis centre. As part of the Qiddiya team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the sporting landscape of the region.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in design management of sports assets, preferably having at least one delivered tennis arena / centre project
- Demonstrated experience managing the design process for similar projects, particularly tennis centres or multi-sport venues.
- Strong portfolio of completed projects showcasing successful outcomes in design and implementation.
- Deep understanding of sustainable design practices and the latest trends in sports facility design.
- Proficient in design software, including CAD programs, BIM, and other industry-standard tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas effectively to diverse audiences.
- Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to lead teams and manage consultants.
- Ability to navigate complex design challenges and deliver innovative solutions within project constraints.
- Knowledge of local building codes, zoning regulations, and best practices in sports facility operation.
- Commitment to collaboration, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
