Specialist / Senior Specialist - Cost Planning Software - CDU Cost Planning
Join Qiddiya Investment Company as a Manager / Senior Manager Cost Planning software - CDU Cost Planning, where you will play a vital role in managing and optimizing the cost planning software. The administrator will provide user support, maintain data integrity, and generate insightful reports, all while collaborating with various departments to facilitate effective decision-making. This role requires a strong blend of analytical skills, technical expertise, and communication abilities to drive financial efficiency across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Administer and manage the cost planning tool, ensuring its functionality, reliability, and security
- Assist in the roll-out of the cost planning software for additional Business Units into Qiddiya installation ensuring consistency
- Manage software updates and enhancements, coordinating with IT and external vendors as necessary
- Provide training and support to users, addressing issues or questions regarding the tool
- Respond to requests for changes and new user access; report on usage of the application
- Ensure appropriate testing of new business units into the cost planning software and testing of new functionality adopted
- Generate and distribute reports and dashboards to stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making
- Develop automation to generate recurring reports in collaboration with the Data Office Team
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of templates, processes, user guides, and system configurations
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in data analytics, information management, engineering, construction management, quantity surveying, or a related disciplineMinimum 3-5 years' experience in cost estimation, quantity surveying or related disciplineExperience working in the GCC construction industry (2+ years preferred)Skills
Familiarity with construction estimating tools (e.g., Cost-X, Cubit, Candy) is required; Cost-X experience is an advantageExperience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI)Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on business outcomesAbility to manage multiple high-stakes projects and meet deadlinesAbility to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and ensure certainty in outcomesPersonal Attributes
