To ensure effective implementation of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards at project sites. The HSE Officer oversees compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and project‑specific HSE plans through inspections, audits, and continuous safety monitoring. The role promotes a proactive safety culture and supports ongoing improvement in site safety performance.

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections to verify compliance with approved HSE policies, procedures, and safe systems of work.
• Implement project‑specific risk assessments, method statements, and work permits.
• Perform internal HSE audits and inspections; document findings, raise non‑conformances, and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure contractors and subcontractors adhere to client and company HSE standards.
• Report unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, near‑misses, and incidents; assist in investigations and root cause analysis.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and awareness sessions to reinforce HSE culture.
• Maintain accurate HSE records including inspections, audits, observations, and performance metrics.
• Assist in preparing monthly HSE reports, audit summaries, and management review inputs.
• Support emergency preparedness, drills, and response planning.
• Monitor PPE compliance and drive continuous improvement in site safety practices.
• Track and analyze HSE Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Management Performance Indicators (MPIs).
• Support the development and implementation of the company’s HSE Management System to enhance safety performance and reduce incidents.
