Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

Design electrical systems for residencial, commercial and goverment projects in accordance with technical specifications and applicable standards. Supervise the execution of electrical works on-site to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications. Prepare electrical layouts and technical drawings using design software such as AutoCAD, Revit and calcuation programs. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure full system integration. Perform load calculations, power distribution analysis, and evaluate system performance. Ensure project timelines and budgets are met. Ensure compliance with electrical codes and local / international standards. Ensure all designs comply with SBC and NEC electrical codes. Produce detailed load schedules, voltage drop analysis, short circuit calculations, and cable sizing reports. Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, safety, and civil disciplines for integrated project delivery. Review shop drawings and respond to contractor RFIs during the construction phase. Provide technical support to site teams when needed. Participate in technical meetings with clients and stakeholders. Ensure design quality and delivery within specified deadlines. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Maximum of 5 years of experience in design and supervision within an engineering consultancy office. Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Dialux, and ETAP. Strong knowledge of NEC, SBC-401, and local utility authority standards. Familiarity with ERP systems such as Odoo is a plus. Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment Ability to generate professional technical reports and documentation.
