Hydraulic Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Hydraulic Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and managing water-related projects such as stormwater management systems, flood risk assessments, dams, pipelines, drainage systems, and other hydraulic structures.

Key Responsibilities :

Design and analyze hydraulic systems, including stormwater, drainage, and flood control systems.

Conduct hydraulic modeling using software such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, or similar tools.

Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and construction specifications.

Collaborate with civil, environmental, and structural engineers on multidisciplinary projects.

Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction phases.

Evaluate environmental impacts and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and permits.

Support water resource planning and hydraulic studies for infrastructure development.

Provide technical input in proposal development and cost estimation.

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Masters preferred with focus in Hydraulics or Water Resources).

Professional Engineer (PE) license or working toward licensure is preferred.

37 years of experience in hydraulic engineering or related field.

Proficient in hydraulic modeling and CAD tools (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, etc.).

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic simulation software.
