Job Description : The opportunity

Responsible for administering, consulting, and negotiating product / service contracts with external customers. Develops pre-sales contract strategies and collaborates with marketing, sales, and business management teams to structure proposals, contracts, and bid documents. Negotiates contracts aligned with business objectives, manages amendments and renegotiations to accommodate scope changes, and ensures contractual obligations are fulfilled. Responsibilities include managing projects / processes independently with limited supervision, coaching lower-level professionals, and solving complex problems.

How you’ll make an impact

Formulates competitive bids / estimates / quotations considering technical and commercial factors.

Ensures tenders are well documented with accurate costs and timely submissions.

Prepares technical, financial, and project management aspects of bids, indicating prices and conditions.

Identifies potential risks in bids, quotations, and contracts.

Participates in the Risk Review process as per company policy.

Evaluates supplier offers and collaborates with Supply Chain Management for subcontractor requests.

Collects technical and cost information for proposals.

Ensures compliance with regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Upholds Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity.

Your background

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.

At least 5 years of experience in electrical substation field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in spoken and written English.
