Role Overview The role holder is responsible for supporting new equipment operations including negotiating new contracts, updating contractual terms and competitive intelligence to grow the market share for Otis Entity. The role holder is also responsible for conducting a product check post-delivery / installation at the client site to ensure quality and compliance with the scope of delivery.
Responsibilities
Provides management information and insights on performance to facilitate management decisions.
Follows departmental policies and procedures to ensure controlled and consistent work.
Works under the guidance of the Manager New Equipment to prepare and negotiate contracts.
Prepares pre‑qualification and technical documents for new equipment proposals.
Prepares estimates and issues quotations based on project scope.
Liaises with clients to negotiate new equipment contracts, addressing risks.
Executes sales strategies to increase market share across all product lines.
Builds strong relationships with developers / contractors and positions Otis favorably.
Coordinates with Aftermarket and Service Department on contract terms.
Conducts inspections of new equipment at client locations as per contractual requirements.
Builds competitive awareness of products to position Otis as the preferred provider.
Assists Finance with timely payment collection.
Maintains and updates new equipment contracts database and reports on status.
Prepares sales reports and pipeline forecasts.
Executes sales operations with compliance to quality procedures & ISO policies.
Defines performance goals and ensures they are achieved.
Identifies training and development needs and arranges required training.
Achieves high levels of proficiency on required competencies and skills.
Keeps abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Sales or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with sales operations in a construction / engineering organization.
Fluent written and spoken English essential; Arabic preferred.
