Description

Conduct assessment and repair of light duty trucks (gas and diesel), tractors, general grounds equipment, generators, and Aviation Ground Support Equipment (AGSE) assigned to the airfield. Inspect, maintain, and repair GSE to include Aviation Ground Power Units (AGPUs) in accordance with applicable manuals.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and repair light duty trucks, tractors, and general grounds equipment.
  • Inspect and maintain aviation ground support equipment, including generators and AGPUs.
  • Adhere to applicable manuals and safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experienced auto / diesel mechanic.
  • Experience in electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Five (5) years of experience maintaining similar equipment.
  • Ability to work different shifts and unsupervised.
  • Ability to use required tools and special equipment.
  • Ability to work with high‑tech electro‑mechanical aircraft support equipment.
  • Lifting ability up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Climbing and working on maintenance platforms as required.
  • Demonstrated performance in maintenance of gasoline and diesel vehicles, electrical auxiliary power units, and hydraulic support equipment.
  • Adherence to safety conditions and use of personal protective equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Graduate of a US Military GSE course or equivalent civilian training and experience.
  • Proficient in computer‑hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms, and other aircraft related documentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Professional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Customer‑service oriented communication.
  • Valid US issued driver’s license and passport.
  • Successfully pass an overseas deployment physical upon hire.

    • Medical Examination

    Candidates must successfully complete all mandatory medical examinations required to obtain employment.

    Criminal Record

    To qualify for a Saudi work visa, candidates must have a clean criminal record with no prior convictions, as specified by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

    Drug and Alcohol Testing

    Candidates must pass a drug test and will be subject to periodic testing to maintain workplace safety standards.

    Compliance with Saudi Labor Law

    All employment terms and conditions will be in accordance with Saudi Labor Law.
