Job Description
Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using advanced project management software
Implement and oversee cost control systems to monitor project expenses and forecast future costs
Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success
Generate detailed performance reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders
Lead and mentor a team of project control specialists, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of project goals and objectives
Develop and implement standardized project control processes and best practices
Monitor project progress against established baselines and recommend corrective actions when necessary
Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards in Saudi Arabia
Participate in contract negotiations and change management processes
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
Minimum 15 years of experience in project controls, preferably in large-scale rail projects
Proven track record of successful project delivery and team leadership
Advanced proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
Strong knowledge of cost control and forecasting tools
Experience with risk management software and methodologies
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and stakeholders
Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing project control teams
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
Additional certifications in project controls or cost management (e.g., CCP, EVP) are a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and familiarity with local regulations and standards in Saudi Arabia
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
