• The candidate will be integrated in a team of network engineers, security engineers and technicians, working on several project focused on engineering Ground Segments for satellite communication systems. The activity includes :
• Design, development and integration of Network & Security architectures for new projects.
• Specialist support, during maintenance phases, for troubleshooting Network & Security equipment.
• Main tasks and responsibilities :
• Perform the analysis and consolidation of requirements concerning the Network & Security architecture of Ground Segments for satellite communication systems.
• Contribute to design, development, implementation, deployment and test of a Network & Security architecture.
• Define networking solutions, configure and troubleshooting networking equipment of Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN).
• Define Network and System Management processes, configuration and procedures.
• Technical skills and attributes :
• Knowledge of data communications systems (Wired, Satellite, Radio / Mobile).
• Networking protocols and networking equipment configuration capabilities (Routers, Switches, Firewalls). Preferred experience and / or certification on Cisco and Fortinet products.
• Network and System Management (NMS) solution knowledge.
• Virtual platforms knowledge.
• Operative Systems, Database and computing basic tools knowledge.
• Knowledge of security engineering framework (risks, threats, vulnerabilities, countermeasure, impact, incident).
• Availability to work in defense / military project.
• Availability to be subjected to Security Clearance process.
• Availability to move outside the place of work for meetings and installations (Italy and Abroad).
• Communication and negotiation skills.
• Capability of team working with sharing competence, activity, and goals.
• Good knowledge of English language.
• Qualifications :
• Degree in computer engineering or telecommunication engineering or similar or Technical Superior Study in technical / scientific area. Preferred experience in Computer and information technologies.

• 1 / 3 years at least
• Place of work
• : Rome Headquarters.This position requires the availability to make frequent trips in Saudi Arabia for a specific project.
