About the Role - We are on the lookout for a highly talented and self-motivated Senior SQL Database SME to join us on our journey in advancing the technological world through innovation and creativity.

Responsibilities

• Excellent knowledge in SQL Server database administration
• Excellent knowledge in High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server
• Good knowledge in designing & developing HA solutions like Always-on AGs, Distributed AGs, replication, log shipping and mirroring
• Excellent knowledge in SQL Always on cluster administration
• Excellent knowledge in Performance Tuning and Optimization
• Good knowledge in MSSQL Features (SQL 2014 & higher versions)
• Excellent knowledge in SQL Server upgrade / Patching
• Excellent knowledge in Security features like Auditing, TLS, etc.,
• Excellent knowledge in backups, restores and recovery models
• Excellent knowledge in Database migration
• Technical knowledge in OS and Virtualization environment (Windows, VMWARE, Hyper-V, etc.)
• Good knowledge of SQL and PowerShell
• Good knowledge of Unix / Linux operating systems
• Good knowledge of other databases like Oracle and MySQL
• Ability to work under pressure
• Professional communication
• Ability to self-manage
• Ability to work on multiple projects

Qualifications

Bachelors or higher in Computer Science

8+ years in large organizations
