Purpose : To plan, lead and direct the activities of the Human Resource Department for the London Business Group of Companies in Saudi Arabia; to deliver a comprehensive Human Resource service to the Company.
You would closely interact with other departmental heads and would proactively advise on best HR practices. Where necessary, you would take a hands-on role.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and direct the Human Resource team to deliver a comprehensive HR service to the business.
- Employee Relations : managing absence, disciplinary actions, grievances, sickness, etc. Measure employee satisfaction and identify areas that require improvement.
- Performance Management : coaching managers on performance management issues and processes.
- Learning & Development : providing guidance on development for managers and their teams.
- Training : Implementing the training and development agenda; identify areas that need attention and improvement.
- Recruitment & Retention : managing talent and succession planning; taking overall responsibility for recruitment activity and campaigns.
- Reward : advise and support employees on company benefits.
- Policy & Procedures : implementation of new HR policies, procedures, and processes.
- Ensure all company policies and procedures are up to date in line with current employment law. Ensure line managers are up to date with changes to any policies.
- Compensation & Benefits : Review Compensation & Benefits packages from time to time, conduct salary surveys to be in line with market standards.
- Working with senior managers, coaching them and advising on all people issues.
- Deal with complex disciplinary / grievance and HR issues, using HR and company knowledge evidencing appropriate decision-making skills.
- Managing HR budgets.
Education : A Bachelor's or Master's degree preferably in Human Resources or any other professional certification.
Experience : At least 10 years of progressive experience as an HR Generalist, out of which at least 3 years in a senior-level management position.
Core Competencies : Human Resource Development, Excellent Communication skills honed in business partnering and advisory roles, Management and Planning, high level of proficiency in MS Office Applications, high level of proficiency in English & Arabic languages, strong understanding of Saudi Employment Law.
Saudi Nationals preferred. Should be willing to travel.
