Senior Accountant
will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Responsibilities
Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Oversee and manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. Reconcile bank accounts and resolve any discrepancies. Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations. Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets. Prepare and analyse budgets and forecasts. Provide financial reports and analysis to management. Assist with internal and external audits. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency. Mentor and guide junior accounting staff. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is highly preferred. Proven experience of at least 5 years in a senior accounting role. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Experience with accounting software. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
