King Fahd Military Medical Complex King Fahd Military Medical Complex (KFMMC) is a military fort’s medical complex that contributes to the development of health services. His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz established this complex to support health‑care development; a huge achievement for the homeland and an oasis of hope that contributes to the care and provision of medical care for armed forces personnel and citizens in the Eastern Province. The hospital consists of specialized departments such as nephrology, kidney transplants, vascular surgery, specialty clinics, as well as a well‑established medical services and clinics. A helicopter air strip is located close to the ER entrance for transferring emergency cases and is equipped with up‑to‑date lighting and guiding equipment. Architecturally, KFMMC is one of the most magnificent buildings to serve medical professionals. The housing compound is environmentally friendly and just minutes walking distance from the hospital; it contains recreation centers, sports, and playgrounds for all ages.
