Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical / Rotating Equipment Engineer to join the Unconventional Resources (UR) Producing Department. The UR Producing Department Operations is responsible for operating all the surface facilities which include field wells and processing facilities. Their role will be to operate the well manifolds, provide field services, maintain the facility, reduce equipment downtime, perform preventive maintenance activities, and provide maintenance services in addition to technical engineering and inspection activities.

Your primary role is to lead mechanical design review, follow construction, and lead commissioning and testing activities for the new shale gas facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day technical support to operations and maintenance to troubleshoot and fix rotating equipment and mechanical systems.
• Develop engineering design packages for new installations and upgrade projects.
• Review project proposals and detailed designs packages for new facilities.
• Participate in testing, commissioning of new facilities, turnaround, and inspection (T&I).
• Update and maintain engineering documentation and drawings.
• Analyze system performance and find solutions for energy saving.
• Ensure quality, cost‑effective, and timely solutions to any upgrades.
• Test and pilot new technologies.
• Ensure full health, safety, and environment compliance.
• Report and analyze key performance indices.
• Make recommendations for technical and economic optimization of existing facilities.
• Lead feasibility and profitability studies for new facilities.
• Contribute to business unit strategy.
• Assist in training, development, and mentoring of younger staff.
• Provide analysis, evaluation, and interpretation in support of projects, processes, and financing related to Aramco capital investment decisions.
