Jeddah, Saudi Arabia | Posted on 14 / 08 / 2025 The Relocation Consultant will be responsible for guiding EER’s clients’ employees (assignees) through the entire relocation process, ensuring a smooth and stress-free transition to their new location. This face-to-face role involves providing personalised guidance and support throughout the entire process. The primary objective is to deliver a high-quality, tailored relocation experience that meets each assignee’s unique needs.
Accountabilities
Conduct initial consultations with assignees to assess their relocation needs, preferences, and expectations.
Provide guidance on housing, schooling, utility setup, bank account opening, and other essential settlement services.
Deliver services in line with each assignee’s specific needs, budget, and the clients’ defined scope of work.
Research and provide information on local laws and regulations, customs, and culture to help clients adapt to their new environment.
Coordinate with external partners such as real estate agents, maintenance companies, property management companies, utility companies, banks and government authorities, to ensure a seamless relocation process.
Maintain proactive and ongoing communication with assignees, addressing any concerns or issues that arise during the relocation process.
Provide weekly progress reports via the designated case management system.
Perform additional duties and ad-hoc tasks and duties as assigned to support the broader Relocation Team.
Requirements
Proven experience in relocation consulting or a related field such as international business or travel planning ideal.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
Technical Qualifications
Previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Customer service training or previous experience in hospitality / client facing roles.
Experience using CRM tools such as Relocation Online to track cases, update client files, and manage workflows.
Training in intercultural communication or cross-cultural competency preferred.
Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of local laws, regulations, customs, and cultural norms.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients simultaneously.
Client service orientated, with a calm, friendly, and professional demeanor when dealing with clients.
Attention to detail, particularly in managing documentation, contracts, and compliance requirements.
Discretion and confidentiality, especially when handling sensitive personal or client information.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and work effectively in face-to-face situations.
Other Requirements
Valid Saudi driving licence and a good knowledge of local roads and neighbourhood.
Access to a car.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as required.
Language
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English at a corporate level.
