Educational & Vocational Relations Manager

The Educational & Vocational Relations Manager will report to the Sr. Talent Manager and owns strategic relationships with universities, technical colleges, and vocational bodies to source talent, co-create curricula, and scale apprenticeship / graduate pipelines for Lucid. Position Overview This role is essential in fostering collaboration between educational institutions, government agencies, non-profits, and private sector organizations to enhance learning opportunities and drive educational innovation. Key Responsibilities Project management Curriculum development input Promoting partnerships Managing communications Ensuring the successful operation of training initiatives Partnership Operations Identify and evaluate potential education partners. Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with educational institutions and organizations. Collaborate with internal teams to align partnership goals with organizational objectives. Monitor and report on the performance of partnerships. Provide strategic advice on partnership development and management. Organize and participate in partnership meetings and events. Stay informed about trends and developments in the education sector. Support the implementation of joint initiatives and programs. Ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations. Drive campus branding, competitions, site tours, and faculty immersion programs. Ensure ethical recruitment, data privacy, and program reporting governance. Track outcomes : conversion rates, time-to-hire, retention, and performance of program alumni. Strategic Duties Identify and manage MOUs with universities / vocational institutions Negotiate and manage partnership agreements and contracts. Align curricula to Lucid competencies. Co-develop apprenticeships, internships, capstones; leverage government initiatives / funding where applicable. Ensure that organization-wide talent management and company initiatives are focused and aligned on improving operational and program efficiencies and effectiveness Serve as a business partner with hiring managers to develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies that result in client satisfaction. Develop effective relationships within the organization and the hiring community to influence and impact the recruiting process and hiring. Grow the participatory relationship of the institution with the business and public sector and its governance. Increase the percentage of expansion of partnerships for training, employment, rehabilitation, and community service. Ensure the continuity of the partnership relationship with the entities and raising the rates of completion of joint works. Skills Stakeholder management Negotiations Program design and analytics Employer branding Strong networking experience and the ability to bring together partnerships for successful program implementation. Experience in Partnership and policy work, including contributing to the development and implementation of academic partnerships and conducting vocational training initiatives. Experience working within the education sector is an added advantage. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s (Master’s preferred) in Business / HR / Engineering. 5+ years university relations / talent programs. Certifications such as Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP), are highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships. Excellent negotiation and project management skills. Knowledge of the education sector and related policies. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience with CRM and project management tools. Willingness to travel as needed.
