System Operator MH60

Overview

The MH-60R Systems Operator will work with Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF) and Maintenance Contractors to perform and support training and operational / maintenance flight activities in accordance with helicopter maintenance program and plans at Jubail Navy Base, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and oversight to RSNF pilots while operating H-60 aircraft.
• Conduct refresher training flights consisting of : Familiarization, preflight, flight operations, and post flights. Not required to perform mission related flights.
• Assist RSNF designated FCF Pilots with all portions of maintenance functional check flights, including preflight briefing, preflight, flight checks, post flight and all required FCF documentation.
• Assist maintenance contractors with in-flight trouble shooting and / or verifications of maintenance discrepancies or repairs, by conducting ground and flight checks.
• Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

Operational Risk Management Crew Resource Management

Advanced knowledge of MH-60 operational systems and capabilities. Knowledge of COMNAVAIRINST series maintenance programs and maintenance practices / procedures.

Clearance Requirements

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials / authorization. US Citizenship is required for facility credentials / authorization to work at this facility.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands

Typically performs all functional duties independently. Must pass an aeronautical / flight physical.
