About the Role
The role involves managing and controlling product costing, inventory valuation, and cost analysis activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. It supports Entaj’s management by providing insights into production efficiency, cost optimization, and profitability improvement. Responsibilities
Perform month‑end closing activities related to cost accounting, including calculation and validation of cost of goods sold (COGS). Review standard and actual product costs and analyze variances to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions. Prepare cost estimates for new and proposed products, including raw materials, labor, and overhead allocations. Ensure all production costs are properly captured and reflected in product costing and sales margins. Oversee the valuation of raw materials, work‑in‑progress, and finished goods inventory. Conduct physical counts, reconciliations, and ensure timely reporting of inventory balances. Monitor purchasing prices of raw materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure accurate valuation and cost control. Analyze overhead and variable costs to ensure efficiency and accuracy of allocations. Monitor manufacturing expenses and recommend improvements to optimize resource utilization without compromising quality. Compile cost data to support operating budgets and financial forecasts. Compare actual costs with budgeted figures and provide variance analysis for management review. Prepare regular reports on cost performance, efficiency, and profitability by product and business unit. Provide management with insights into cost drivers and opportunities for cost reduction. Ensure costing practices comply with IFRS and company policies. Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard accuracy and integrity of cost data. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CMA preferred). 5–7 years of experience in costing, cost accounting, or financial analysis, preferably in manufacturing or agribusiness. Strong knowledge of cost accounting and product costing methodologies. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Excel. Analytical skills with ability to interpret cost data and provide recommendations. Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities. Knowledge of IFRS and cost control standards. Seniority level
