Overview
The experienced HS&W Manager will lead and oversee health, safety, and environmental operations across diverse project sites and consultancy engagements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in site-based HSE management, coupled with the ability to provide strategic consultancy services to clients, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement across all project phases. Strategic Leadership & Planning
Develop and implement comprehensive HSE strategies aligned with corporate goals and project-specific requirements. Lead the integration of HSE principles into project planning, execution, and delivery. Advise senior leadership and clients on HSE risks, regulatory changes, and mitigation strategies. Site Operations Management
Oversee HSE performance across multiple project sites, ensuring adherence to local and international standards. Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and enforce corrective actions. Monitor contractor and subcontractor compliance with HSE policies and procedures. Lead emergency preparedness and response planning, including drills and simulations. Consultancy & Client Engagement
Provide expert HSE consultancy services to clients, including gap analysis, system development, and regulatory compliance support. Facilitate workshops and training sessions for clients on HSE best practices, legal obligations, and cultural transformation. Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and recommendations tailored to client needs. Compliance & Reporting
Ensure compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and other relevant standards and regulations. Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of preventive measures. Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, audits, and corrective actions. Track and report HSE KPIs, trends, and performance metrics to internal and external stakeholders. Training & Development
Design and deliver HSE training programs for employees, contractors, and clients. Promote a proactive safety culture through engagement, awareness campaigns, and leadership development. Mentor junior HSE staff and contribute to talent development within the organization. About You
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field. NEBOSH International Diploma, IOSH Chartered Membership, or equivalent certification required. ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification preferred. Minimum 13 – 17 years of progressive HSE experience in engineering, construction, or infrastructure sectors. Proven experience managing HSE operations on large‑scale, complex project sites. Demonstrated consultancy experience with client‑facing roles in HSE advisory, audits, and system implementation.
