Responsibilities

Deliver detailed structural engineering design and analysis for complex infrastructure and urban development projects. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, civil engineers, and MEP engineers to develop integrated design solutions. Prepare and review structural design reports, specifications, drawings, and calculations. Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project-specific requirements. Conduct structural assessments and provide solutions for any design-related challenges during construction. Liaise with contractors and project stakeholders to provide technical support and resolve on-site issues. Participate in design review meetings and value engineering workshops. Coordinate with local authorities for design approvals and ensure adherence to regulatory standards. Support project delivery teams in ensuring timelines, quality, and budget requirements are met. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and design innovations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. Master's degree preferred. Minimum 7 years of experience in structural engineering, with significant exposure to large-scale infrastructure or urban development projects. Proven experience working on multidisciplinary projects in the Middle East, particularly in KSA. Strong knowledge of international design standards such as ACI, BS, Eurocodes, and local Saudi codes. Proficient in structural design software such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, and Revit. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage. Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership is mandatory.
