Minimum Requirements : - Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent - At least 10 years of operational experience in electrical maintenance in any chemical / petrochemical industry Role Responsibilities : Planning and supervision Work permits Troubleshooting and repair Preventive maintenance Housekeeping Training Materials and equipment Timekeeping and overtime work HSE Duty roster / callout Plan, allocate and schedule manpower for various maintenance jobs to meet the daily maintenance objectives, in accordance with company and industry work procedure standards. Respond swiftly to emergency repairs to restore the failed machines or equipment to operating condition as quickly as possible. Ensure the workplace is always maintained clean and tidy in line with company standards. Adhere to HSE regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Lead daily toolbox talks with technicians and highlight any safety issues related to the assigned work. Standby whenever required to meet urgent or contingent requirements of the plant, e.g., plant turnaround or shutdown, and call out suitable technicians to cover emergency jobs. Supervising electrical maintenance service and repairs of equipment and fixtures such as motors and transformers. Applying best practice procedures utilized in electrical maintenance. Supervising a team of electrical maintenance workers. Designing and implementing work schedules for the electrical team. Providing motivation and assistance when necessary. Inspecting and assessing the work done by the electrical team. Reading and interpreting design schematics to ensure the proper installation of electrical systems. Troubleshooting major system failures and equipment malfunctions. Repairing and maintaining electrical equipment.
