Overview
The Production Manager – Protein Division is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all production activities within the protein manufacturing plant. This role ensures operational excellence, adherence to safety and quality standards, and continuous improvement of production processes. The incumbent will lead a diverse team, drive performance through effective planning and leadership, and collaborate across departments to achieve productivity and profitability targets.

Actively participate in cross-functional operations teams to align plant goals with business objectives.Ensure effective manpower planning, training, and performance management across the production function.Build workforce capabilities to meet operational requirements and succession needs.C. Achieve cost-per-ton benchmarks by driving productivity, optimal line manning, and managing overtime effectively.Foster a zero-incident safety culture, ensuring strict adherence to safety and compliance standards.Ensure achievement of production targets on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis (volume, yield, and OEE).Optimize plant scheduling, shift management, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency.Develop, implement, and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Ensure consistent product quality and full QA compliance.Manage rework and waste reduction initiatives to improve efficiency.Maintain full audit compliance and readiness for both internal and external audits.Lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement (CI) projects to enhance operational performance.Build and maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities, ensuring full SFDA compliance.Coordinate and conduct product and process trials in collaboration with R&D teams.Ensure all product developments meet regulatory and quality compliance standards.Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Technology, or a related discipline.Minimum 8–10 years of experience in food manufacturing, ideally within the protein (poultry / meat) sector.At least 3 years in a production management or supervisory leadership role.Strong technical background in protein manufacturing, preferably poultry; experience with QSR clients is an advantage.Proven experience in production operations and continuous improvement methodologies.Hands-on, results-driven leader with the ability to motivate teams under pressure.Strong organizational agility, cross-functional collaboration, and problem-solving capability.Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.High accountability and ownership of production KPIs.Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle).Experience working within the KSA market or GCC region preferred.Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written)Seniority level
