Job Description
Black & Grey HR is partnering with a well-established retail group in Saudi Arabia for their supermarket division. Our client is looking for a Demand Planner who will be responsible for ensuring optimal product availability, efficient inventory management, and accurate sales forecasting.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, maintain, and improve demand forecasts across all supermarket product categories using statistical models, historical sales data, and market insights.
- Collaborate with category managers, supply chain, and sales teams to align demand plans with business objectives and promotional activities.
- Monitor sales trends, seasonal demand patterns, and market dynamics to adjust forecasts and prevent stock-outs or overstocking.
- Ensure accurate inventory planning and replenishment strategies to achieve targeted service levels and minimize waste.
- Participate in S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) meetings, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Track forecast accuracy, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely product availability.
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards for management on demand trends, forecast accuracy, and inventory status.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).Minimum 3–5 years of experience in demand planning, preferably in the retail or FMCG sector.Strong analytical skills with proficiency in demand planning tools, ERP systems, and advanced MS Excel.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across departments.Knowledge of supermarket operations, product assortment, and local market trends in KSA is highly desirable.Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.Benefits
