Washnah Contracting Company is looking for an experienced

Site Mechanical Engineer

with a focus on water and wastewater treatment projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing mechanical installations, maintenance, and ensuring all mechanical aspects meet project specifications and safety standards. Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage mechanical works on-site, ensuring they align with project plans and specifications. Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems for water and wastewater treatment plants. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and civil engineers, to ensure cohesive project execution. Prepare and review mechanical designs, technical documentation, and equipment specifications. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions promptly. Ensure adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies. Manage and monitor the availability and condition of mechanical materials and equipment on-site. Conduct quality assurance and control checks on all mechanical installations. Regularly report on project progress, challenges, and solutions to senior management. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 8+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 5+ years focused on water and wastewater treatment facilities. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems in water treatment, including pumps, piping, HVAC, and process equipment. Proficient in mechanical design software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD). Familiarity with national and international mechanical codes and safety standards. Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed. Preferred Qualifications

Experience with large-scale infrastructure or government projects. Certification in water / wastewater treatment or related mechanical systems.
