Penspen are currently looking for a Senior Process Engineer (asset integrity) in Al Khafji location in KSA.
To provide support for developing the energy management system including but not limited to the following :
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain energy management system
Organize and coordinate the execution of the energy management system
Energy Efficiency Optimization Task aims to specify the near‑optimal operation targets / modes that minimize the plant’s energy consumption while avoiding deficiency in energy supply of the utility systems to the plant’s process.
Minimize disruption in the energy utility supply
Establish a comprehensive energy audit and de‑carbonization program specifically for rotating equipment
Analyze and address design issues (e.g., oversizing) and operational issues (e.g., excessive recycling, inefficient stand‑by practices)
Conduct a plant‑wide survey to identify major energy‑consuming equipment.
Implement energy saving measures, including equipment retrofitting.
Explore deploying online monitoring instruments for critical high energy rotating equipment to enable real‑time performance tracking.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, leveraging best practices and lessons learned.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, environmental, or chemical engineering or closely related field.
Years of Experience : Twelve (12) years of experience; eight (8) of them within the field of Process Engineering / Mechanical Engineer / Renewable Energy Engineer / Energy Efficiency Engineer for major oil and gas / petrochemical projects.
