SHORT DESCRIPTION

An Excellent opportunity to join as a Neurology Consultant for one of the most prestigious and top tier leading Hospital in Taif Saudi Arabia.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To provide high standard patient care in accordance with the NGHA m1ss1011 vision and values in Neurology within the Department of Medicine.
• To provide inpatient care for the Neurology patients admitted to the hospital either as the MRP or as the covering physician during rest hours weekends holidays or vacations of the MRP accepting the inconvenience associated with the patient needs.
• To provide care to Neurology patients in the ambulatory care facility. The duration and frequency of this service are dictated by the needs and the regulations of the organization the Department of Medicine and the Division of Neurology.
• To provide Neurology consultations services to other divisions within the Department of Medicine and other Departments within the organization during the regular working and the oncall hours.
• To perform diagnostic and / or therapeutic interventions and procedures in patients with neurological disorders for which he / she has been granted specific privileges based on his / her training qualifications experience and skills.
• To participate in interpreting and reporting neurological procedures such as EEG Evoked Potential and Nerve Conduction study and to perform EMG.
• To participate in the oncall coverage in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Division of Neurology the Department of Medicine.
• To actively participate in Quality Improvement program of the department.
• To provide close supervision of the clinical performance of subordinates and to provide them with a role model especially those in training.
• To supervise the Neurophysiology Technologists and train them in her / his field of experience.
• To serve on divisional departmental and organizational committees as appointed by the Head the Division of Neurology Chairman the Department of Medicine or the Executive Management of the organization.
• To participate in scientific research contribute to the departments educational activities and postgraduate training programs in Neurology or Internal Medicine as well as education for Neurophysiology trainees.
• To adhere to all rules and regulations of the Division department and organization. Consultants are expected to familiarize themselves with and comply with both the APPs and IPPs.
• To comply with all the professional and ethical standards and express adherence to the Medical Staff Bylaws of the organization.
• To show the expected respect at all times to patients their families colleagues subordinates and all other members of the healthcare team.
