Qiddiya Investment Company is transforming the entertainment landscape in Saudi Arabia, and we are in search of an experienced development professional to fill the role of Manager - Development Financial Analysis within our Sports Business Unit. This position is pivotal in supporting to shape our development thinking through comprehensive business planning, financial strategy, and analysis for proposed world-class sports assets for international events within Qiddiya City.
As an Manager of Development Financial Analysis - Sports, you will be responsible in providing robust development financial analysis and commercial acumen across a range of Sports assets. Providing optimization studies, financial models and committee papers to support the development process.
You will join a high-performing team that develops comprehensive business plans, investment strategies, and financial models. Your role will be instrumental in driving investment decisions within the portfolio, optimizing capital allocation, and ensuring our projects deliver exceptional returns while aligning with Qiddiya's long-term vision in Sport.
Day to day you will be partnering with executives, development professionals, strategy teams and key stakeholders to shape the future of world-class sports assets and facilities. With that in mind end-to-end development experience in Sports or Experiential assets is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of investment strategies, business plans, and financial frameworks for multibillion dollar development projects through development and construction
- Drive capital optimization, building sophisticated financial models to strategically assess all investment decisions, with a commercial focus
- Build innovative financial models and revenue strategies for sports assets, with clear financial goals, options and sensitivities to quantify development decision making
- Involved in complex feasibility studies and strategic assessments for major development initiatives, including guidance on capital structure, funding options, and risk management strategies
- Support with transformation initiatives in financial and commercial strategy to ensure decision making is based on best-in-class analysis and thinking
- Support strategic due diligence and valuation of potential investments, partnerships, and development opportunities
- Review long-term financial forecasting and scenario planning to optimize portfolio performance and returns
Present / Communicate and justify financial insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders, supporting decision-making across the organization and within the development governance framework
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, real estate, or a related fieldA minimum of +6 years of relevant experience,Experience within client-side development roles preferred, with a focus on Sports or Experience-based assets, with an operational exit.Exceptional proficiency in complex excel based financial modeling, strategic planning tools and Power BIProven track record of involvement in financial strategy and business planning for large-scale development projectsExperience in translating complex financial models into simple presentation decks and reports to guide stakeholders through the complexity of development analysisExperience in financial planning and business strategy for major sporting venues is highly desirableStrong understanding of operational assets, working with profit and loss accounts with an ability to review and identify key levers, optimization opportunities and risks.Strong background in developing and implementing commercial frameworks and revenue optimization strategiesExceptional critical thinking and strategic problem-solving abilities, with demonstrated capability to drive innovation and challenge conventional approaches
