Role Purpose
The Senior BIM Engineer supports the implementation and integration of Building Information Modeling (BIM) across the project lifecycle, with a strong focus on landscape construction projects. This role ensures effective use of BIM while adhering to industry standards and contract requirements, driving collaboration, data accuracy, and digital efficiency in project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Project Support
Oversee project progress and team performance to ensure timely completion within budget and quality standards.Collaborate with the project team to align outcomes with client objectives and specifications.Provide technical leadership in applying BIM methodologies to landscape construction and infrastructure projects.BIM Coordination & Support
Lead the integration of BIM across landscape design and construction disciplines.Manage the BIM supply chain to ensure accurate and timely data delivery across all project stakeholders.Quality Assurance
Implement quality checks on BIM deliverables to ensure compliance with client and project-specific requirements.Develop and enforce BIM quality control plans, with attention to landscape and external works scope.Lead clash detection processes to mitigate design and construction conflicts.Integrate landscape and civil data sources with BIM for enhanced project management and construction sequencing.CDE Management
Maintain and manage the Common Data Environment (CDE) to track and monitor landscape and infrastructure deliverables.Standards Compliance & Model Management
Develop BIM templates and ensure models include essential information for facility operations and landscape asset management.Ensure full compliance with BIM standards (e.g., IFC, ISO 19650) across all project phases.Mentor junior BIM engineers and provide training in BIM best practices.Identify risks and opportunities related to BIM processes in large-scale landscape construction projects.Work Contacts

Knowledge & Experience
Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in BIM-focused roles within the construction industry, including significant exposure to landscape and external works projects.Proven track record of leading BIM coordination across multidisciplinary teams on large-scale projects.In-depth knowledge of BIM standards and protocols (e.g., IFC, ISO 19650), with demonstrated compliance management.Strong experience in managing BIM deliverables, overseeing clash detection, and integrating BIM with project management systems.Background in mentoring junior BIM engineers and contributing to organizational BIM maturity.Education & Certification
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).Professional certifications (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional, BRE BIM Certification, or equivalent) highly desirable.Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Dynamo, BIM 360, Civil 3D).Expertise in CDE management, data exchange standards, and model integration for landscape and infrastructure scopes.Skilled in developing BIM templates, enforcing model standards, and optimizing workflows for both built and landscape environments.Core Competencies
