Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Experience with welding and fabrication techniques. Familiarity with electrical systems and basic troubleshooting. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Millwright Technician with 10-15 years of experience to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of mechanical systems and will be responsible for the maintenance, installation, and repair of machinery in a mill environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment in a mill environment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide effective solutions to prevent downtime.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machinery reliability and performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices and safety protocols.
