Hypo Operator

Overview

Job Purpose : To support the efficient and safe operation of the Chlor Alkali Plant and associated units by operating equipment, monitoring processes, performing quality checks, and ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures under the supervision of the Hypo Shift Operator.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the Chlor Alkali Plant and ensure all systems run smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with standard operating procedures.
• Operate the Brine Purification Unit and monitor performance to maintain optimal process conditions.
• Operate and monitor all other departmental equipment, including pumps, mixers, and related machinery.
• Add required raw materials to the designated units as per operational guidelines.
• Accurately complete daily logs, reports, and operational documentation.
• Conduct routine quality control checks and basic laboratory analyses to ensure process quality.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance checks on equipment to support operational reliability.
• Create and submit work orders for any required maintenance activities.
