Your impact Jacobs is seeking a talented Structural Design Engineer to join our Buildings & Logistics team based in Riyadh. The projects aim to elevate Saudi Arabia's tourism industry by attracting discerning travelers seeking exclusive experiences, luxury, and a connection with nature. This is your opportunity to shape urban design and drive transformative projects showcasing architectural excellence. The role involves analyzing and designing structural elements for various projects. The successful candidate must demonstrate expertise in structural calculations, code compliance, and producing high-quality design deliverables. In joining Jacobs you will Coordinate engineering design and calculations in accordance with international codes of practice. Analyze loads, forces, and stresses to ensure structural stability and integrity. Coordinate structural / civil drawings, analysis, and calculations with senior engineers. Maintain positive relationships with team members and other disciplines. Collaborate with engineers to prioritize projects and workloads. Address design challenges and propose innovative solutions. Here's what you'll need Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized university; Master’s degree is a plus. 3+ years of structural design experience in buildings and infrastructure, preferably in Saudi Arabia or the GCC. Proficiency in design software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, Revit Structures, and MS Excel. Strong knowledge of SBC, ACI, BS, Eurocodes, or other relevant codes.
